Lovely Autumn Leaves
29th October, 2018
Wandering round Wallington (National Trust – 20 miles north of Newcastle) at this time of the year is a delectable experience. The big house was once home to the Trevelyan family – now closed for the season. However the garden and riverside walks are particularly lovely with tree leaves turning from green to red. Check. Out the National Trust website for Wallington to get some ideas of what activities are available for families. However all are made welcome here by the NT volunteers, and theres also a good coffee shop where you can eat. Outdoors if the weather is favourable.
